Discuss McPhee’s use of metaphor/symbolism/imagery, sentence fragments, subtitles, structure, and anything else you notice.
A metaphor is a comparison made without using like or as, and with the comparison is implied (implicit). A metaphor is a figure of speech in which a word or phrase takes on the meaning of another word or phrase to suggest a likeness between the two.
