Journal Entry 3.1: The press in this country was quite different when the First Amendment to the U.S. Constitution, which affords the press some extraordinary protections, was written. McChesney talk about this in the Unit 1 reading. Based on that and your experience, what do you see as the main differences between then and now? Be sure to write at least 250 words for this entry.

Journal Entry 3.2: Some countries, including Britain, have an openly partisan press. NPR did some reports about this and press ideology a couple of years ago. You can read/listen to those from these
