Doyou think compassion is a learned or taught behavior?
Expert Answer
Compassion is a learned behaviorwhen a person grows up in the societal environment and learnsregarding how people behave when somebody suffers and try toreplicate the same when he or she tries to sympathize with thesufferers. So, cognitively, people keep learning it over adifferent age cycle of the life.
Sometimes, it is a taught behavior, when individuals are trained regarding how to behave and expresstheir compassion through their words, action and deeds. It helps tofortify the learned behavior w.r.t. compassion.
