In this bit of forensics, only bits and pieces remain on disk ofa file system that looks very similar to the Very SimpleFile System (VSFS). VSFS, as you may recall, has an inodebitmap, some inodes, a data bitmap, and some data blocks. Here is asample VSFS empty file system disk image:
