At the beginning of Chapter 5, we suggested that concerns aboutthe loss of privacy may have a generational dimension or element—i.e., younger people may be less concerned about privacy lossinvolving cybertechnology than older people. To further explorethis possibility, conduct a series of informal inter- views withindividuals that represent three generations: Millennials, Gen X/Y,and Baby Boomers. Ask members of each group how much they valuetheir privacy and how much of it they are willing to trade off forthe conve- nience of cybertechnology.
