In this assignment, we’ll be writing code that hides secretmessages (strings) in binary files. This is a technique known as”steganography,” which basically means hiding messages in “plainsight.” Anyone eavesdropping thinks you’re just sharing an awesomeaudio file with your buddy, but there’s actually a secret hiddeninside.
The example file we’ll be using is a .wav audio file which iswell suited to this type of information hiding. This picture showshow it works:
