In Chapter 1, we talk about the role HR plays within today’sorganizations. It’s logical is it not? Today, the most valuableasset a company can have is its employees! Years ago while pursuingour MBAs, we took courses in Inventory Management, Production, andPlant Operations. But then twenty years ago our economy was basedupon manufacturing and a company’s production capacity andinventory were of prime importance.
