So far I have not experienced any situation where an option hasbeen declined by the board. Even if something is declined by theboard, there would be various reasons. This is because boards arestuck in the middle & are under increasing pressure to act aswatch dogs & disciplinarians.
My thoughts about the declination are that people in the boardare considered to be in a superior & experienced position.Hence I feel that decisions taken by them would
