âThe changes in CMSâs reimbursement methodology are forcing hospitals to allocate more resources to improving the patient experience.â (Mezurenko, 2016). I believe it is easy for the healthcare community to forget that the patients are our customers. The CMSâs payment denial reminds us of this fact.
