Racial profiling is one of the most important issues currently facinglaw enforcement. While this is not a new issue, there have beenaccusations of it throughout the country, and it probably is the singlelaw enforcement issue that has received the most media coverage andcitizen involvement during the last two years. There has been much mediacoverage about police officers stopping people because of race,ethnicity, or culture.
