Purpose of the group project:

The main purpose of the group project is to provide students with an opportunity to work

together in (i) choosing a destination through negotiation and consensus, (ii) applying their

knowledge and critical and analytical skills and (iii) synthesizing their knowledge acquired on

tourism policy and planning to (iv) write up a FINAL tourism plan for the chosen destination

in less than 4000 words
