Question Description
The question this time is more heavy-handed, but it’s absolutely a necessary intellectual exercise. This week instead of gender, look at a popular game and think about how changing the race of the main character would change the game. You don’t have to pick African-American– as you noticed this week’s class content skewed Native American, and there are many, many othered populations. The important element here is to think about how a non-white protagonist would change a game (or the opposite, should you choose a rare game with a non-white main character).
