Must the relationship between union and employer during the initial phases of union emergence be adversarial?
Are there ever situations in which the employer would or should welcome the presence of a union? When and why?

The relation between the union and employer decides the fate of the company. Both must try to work together inorder to maintain balance. The relation int he initial phases need not be adversarial because even the employer will sometimes be benefitted by the union because with the presence of the union individual decisions cannot be taken by the employees and some rules
