The Missouri Department of Social Services (DSS), my current employer, is one that has been attempting to improve the lives of Missourians, its headquarters located in Jefferson City. The Department is comprised of separate divisions, including Family Support, Children’s Division, Child Support, and Youth Services (where I am employed). The overall mission of Missouri DSS is “to maintain or improve the quality of life for Missouri citizens”. As Stated on the Director’s Office web page, The Department of Social Services is responsible for coordinating programs to provide public
