The scheduler at Haley’s Airframes uses MPS time-phased records for planning end item production. The planner is currently working on a schedule for a strut assembly (P24), one of Haley’s top-selling spare parts. The planner uses a production lot size of 170 and a safety stock of 15 for the strut assembly. No beginning on hand inventory. Note that in the table MPS is scheduled production order receipts and they need to be arranged by you. Assume production lead time is very short.
