Product liability refers to the liability of manufacturer or seller against any damage caused by the defective product sold to the customer.
“As per Product Liability Law the defect can be of 3 types:
Defect in the designing of product
Defect in the manufacturing of product
Defect in the information supplied about the product.”
In case of any above mentioned defect occurs, then seller, manufacturer or any distributor in supply chain can be held responsible for the damage to customer.
