Question Description

The North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA), the 1994 pact that governs more than $1.2 trillion worth of trade among the United States, Canada and Mexico, has been updated on September 30, 2018. The three countries have agreed to replace it with a new plan, the United States – Mexico – Canada Agreement (USMCA) that changes multiple industries. USMCA will take effect on January 1, 2020, provided that it is ratified by the legislatures of the three countries.
