In hearings on the NDAA forFY 2012, Chairman Turner was “still uneasy with thecurrent allocation of space intelligence analyticalresponsibilities”, i.e. the National Air and Space IntelligenceCenter, NASIC, being restricted from doing original analysis incertain counter space areas despite their long history of technicalexpertise.
