Background

Seaside Memorial (Seaside) is a non-profit, 100 bed communityhospital located in Southern New Jersey. It has operated for 20years providing inpatient and outpatient care. Seaside alsooperates three Urgent Care Centers (UCCs) that are located within a30 mile radius of the hospital. These UCCs are staffed primarily byNurse Practitioners providing services to patients throughout theregion. If the patient is triaged and the level of care requiresadditional resources the patient is transferred by ambulance toSeaside’s Emergency Department.
