English 1100 Research position paper

What is a research position paper? It is a mini research paper, in which you consider two different sources and attempt to present a) an argument of your own that b) puts the sources into closer conversation with one another. Ultimately, you present a scholarly discussion about a topic that contains three voices: yours, article 1, and article 2.
